Pete is Perth born and grew up along the Northern beaches and the Swan River who has always considered that Perth is unique in a lot of ways. Starting from the 1st Nations People (Noongar people) 50,000.00 years ago to the establishment of the Swan River Colony on the 15th of August 1829.  

Pete regards the Derbil Yerrigan (Swan River) as Iconic. Sydney may have its Opera House, Melbourne may have its MCG, but we have a River system that has been the life blood of Peoples for 60,000.00.
